Hanging Drapery is no joke, and not for those with a fear of heights! Here's a look into a day in the life of a wedding planner.

The material is delicate and sheer so we have to keep it stored in a safe way to not get damaged. We carefully roll it up and wrap it in saran wrap.

The planning process is a long but rewarding journey. We work with our brides for months to make their special day exactly what they've been dreaming of...even if it means heading into the woods!

One of our most recent brides had a Woodland - Winter Wonderland theme and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

First off, we had to find the perfect tree.

After we found "the one," we chopped that baby down and loaded her up.

{shoutout to Deborah's dad, Sid, for the machete work and helping tie the tree down}

We also needed some cute little twigs and such for the finishing touches on decor:

And then is was just a matter of putting the centerpieces together and adding flowers. The bride wanted lots of greenery and little pops of white and pine cones.

We used daisies, hydrangeas, spider mums, stock flowers, and roses for the bits of white.

Her bouquet was delightful! We loved working with little pine cones. We weaved green wire at the tops of them to give them a long "stem" that way we could easily insert them into arrangements and manipulate the way they rested.

The mantel and hearth looked so cozy! A neighbor cut big stumps for us and we used old wooden boxes and a large vintage milk can for that extra rustic look.

Every season is wedding season, but there's something so refreshing about Autumn - the days get a bit shorter, the leaves turn vibrant colors, the breeze gets a little stronger...It's the time after the miserable heat and before the bitter cold, when outside feels perfect AND you get to step on crunchy leaves! (who doesn't love that?)

So, in honor of Autumn, here are some fun Fall ideas for your wedding!

Pretty Pumpkin Centerpieces

Pumpkins! Pumpkins are so versatile -- paint them, cover them in glitter, use them as a vase, or simply as-is.

Pictured above, the flower-girl is dropping leaves instead of petals - such a fun idea! Also, the pumpkins lining the path are too cute! The colors in this picture are gorgeous.

Wood slabs work for every season; pair with leaves and the colors really pop.

Our S'mores Bar is a nice Fall/Winter touch. It gets guests outside in the cooler weather; and who doesn't love an ooey-gooey marshmallow? Add a couple lawn games or a Cigar Lounge for the guys:
